Brighter Image – Wig & Scarf Consulting

Hoag Family Cancer Institute offers a Brighter Image Program to provide support to Hoag patients who have lost their hair, or anticipate hair loss, due to medical treatment. Consultations with licensed esthetician Karey York may include:

• One-on-one appointments to educate patients on dealing with hair loss and skin changes during cancer
• Guidance with specially fitted wigs, scarves and more

Consultation and Brighter Image items are all free of charge. No referral is required. No insurance necessary. Hoag patients can also receive one free wig to wear during treatment.
